Fire Fighter Retires after 20 years of service

Melissa Sheene retired from the City of Danville Fire Department on January 31, 2017. She worked at the City of Danville for 24 years, first as a dispatcher at 911, then as a records clerk for the police department and finishing her career as a fire fighter. She retired after 20 years of service as a fire fighter. According to Chief Brumfield, Melissa responded to over 6,000 runs during her career.

The City of Danville would like to thank Melissa for all of her years of service and wish her the best in her retirement.
