  • The following ordinances have been passed and published by the Danville City Commission, but have yet to be codified and available for searching online through American Legal Publishing Corporation.

    All ordinances that have been passed and published by the City Commission and codified are available for searching online through American Legal Publishing Corporation.   • Ordinance No. 1893- An ordinance amending a portion of Ordinance No. 1883, which established the City of Danville, Kentucky, annual budget for the fiscal year 7-1-16 through 6-30-17 by appropriating funds for the operation of city government. 
  • Ordinance No. 1891- An ordinance changing the zone from NCC (Neighborhood Conservation Classification) to HC (Highway Commercial) fro 2.347 acres of real property located at 109 War Adrmiral Road in Danville, Kentucky.
  • Ordinance No. 1890An ordinance deleting the prohibition of guns in cemeteries in the city of Danville, Kentucky Code of Ordinances Chapter 5 Article I Section 5-11 and revising the language pertaining to the carrying of deadly weapons by citation officers in Chapter 2 Article III Division 7 Section 2-95 so as to comply with KRS 65.870.
  • Ordinance No. 1889- An ordinance enacted by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Danville, Kentucky, relating to the duties of pawnbrokers and precious metal dealers and for the reporting of transactions involving them.
  • Ordinance No. 1888An ordinance amending the City of Danville, Kentucky Code of Ordinaces Chapter 6 Article 1 Section 6-3 to restrict the sale and public display of fireworks and pyrotechnic articles.
  • Ordinance No. 1887- An ordinance pursuant to the Kentucky Business Investment Act (KRS 154.32-010--154.32-100) granting Total Cart Management USA, INC. a wage assessment; granting certain employees of company a partial credit against City of Danville occupational license tax; and providing provisions for recapture of these benefits in certain events.

  • Ordinance No. 1885- An ordinance establishing Ad Valorem Tax rates for Fiscal Year 2016-2017 and penalities for non-payment.
  • Ordinance No. 1884- An ordinance amending CDO 2-96, pertaining to the classification plan, compensation plan and policies and procedures for city personnel.
  • Ordinance No. 1883- An ordinance adopting the City of Danville, Kentucky, annual budget for the fiscal year 7-1-16 through 6-30-17 by appropriating funds for the operation of City Government.
  • Ordinance No. 1882- An ordinance amending Chapter 16 (taxation) Article II (Occupational Licenses) of the Code of Ordinances for the City of Danville, Kentucky, creating an exemption for special event permitees from having an occupational license and the requirements associated with same and creating a requirement for special event permit fees to be paid for businesses leasing, renting or otherwise being provided booths, stalls or other space at festivals and special events.
  • Ordinance No. 1881- An ordinance amending Chapter 2 (animals) Article III (dogs) of the Code of Ordinances for the City of Danville, Kentucky.
  • Ordinance No. 1880- An ordinance creating and establishing for bid a non-exclusive electric franchise for the placement of facilities for the transmission, distribution and sale of electrical energy within the public right-of-way of the City of Danville for a twenty (20) year duration; in return for payment to the City of Danville of the sum of three percent (3%) of franchisee's gross receipts per year from the franchisee's sale of electricity to electric-consuming entities inside the City of Danville's corporate limits; reserving the right to impose a franchise fee of up to five percent (5%) of franchisee's gross electronic-consuming entities inside the City of Danville's corporate limits and further providing for compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards; indemnification; insurance; cancellation or termination; and bid requirements; all effective on date of passage.
  • Ordinance No. 1879- An ordinance enacting and adopting a supplement to the code of ordinances of the City of Danville, Kentucky.
  • Ordinance No. 1878- An ordinance changing the zone from GR-B ( General Residential- Small Lot), IBD ( Industrial- Business Development) and H-C ( Highway- Commercial) to GR-C ( General Residential- Civic Lot) for 7.308 acres of real property located south of Russell Street, north of Dillehay Street and west of Roy Arnold Avenue in Danville, Kentucky.
  • Ordinance No. 1877- An ordinance changing the zone from GR-B ( General Residential-Small Lot) to H-C ( Highway Commercial) for 2.459 acres of real property located on the west side of South Fourth Street and on the south, east and north by Highland Court with a physical address of 805 South Fourth Street in Danville, Kentucky.
  • Ordinance No. 1876- An ordinance creating and establishing for bid a non-exclusive natural gas franchise for the placement of facilities for the transmission, distribution and sale of natural gas within the right-of-way of the City of Danville for a twenty (20) year duration, in return for payment to the City of Danville of the sum of two percent (2%) of distribution, and/or delivery of gas within the City of Danville; and further providing for compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards; all effective on date of passage.
  • Ordinance No. 1875- An ordinance amending articles 5 and 7 of the "zoning ordinance, Boyle County and the Cities of Danville and Perryville" to add requirement of obtaining a conditional use permit as a precondition to construction or conversion of a non-public utility pipeline for transportation under pressure of hazardous liquids in order to allow the proper integration into the community of uses which may be suitable in specific locations only if certain conditions are met and to further revise article 18. 
  • Ordinance No. 1874- An ordinance granting MKP Management, INC. a partial credit against City of Danville Occupational License Tax; And providing provisions for recapture of these benefits in certain events.
  • Ordinance No. 1873- An ordinance granting Kimball Furniture Group, LLC a wage assessment; granting certain employees of company a partial credit against City of Danville Occupational License Tax; and providing provisions for recapture of these benefits in certain events.
  • Ordinance No. 1872- An ordinance amending a portion of Ordinance No. 1861, which established the City of Danville, Kentucky, annual budget for the fiscal year 7-1-15 through 6-30-16 by appropriating funds for the operation of city government.
  • Ordinance No. 1871- An ordinance amending City of Danville Code of Ordinances Chapter 5, Article V, Division 3  pertaining to the Municipal Housing Commission to authorize the mayor or his designee to serve on said commission.
  • Ordinance No. 1870- An ordinance of the City of Danville, Kentucky, establishing a new article on the City of Danville Code of Ordinances titled Operation of Golf Carts in Chapter Seventeen regarding traffic and motor vehicles.
  • Ordinance No. 1869- An ordinance amending certain provisions of the City of Danville Code of Ordinances in Chapter 17.5 to revise the list of undesirable tree species and suggested tree species for use in public rights-of-way.
  • Ordinance No. 1868- An ordinance establishing Ad Valorem Tax rates for fiscal year 2015-2016 and penalties for non-payment.
  • Ordinance No. 1867- An ordinance changing the zone from GR-B ( General Residential- Small Lot) to NCR-C ( Neighborhood Center Residential-Commercial) for 1.502 acres of real property located on the south side of Jacob Street and west side of South Second Street with a physical address of 202 Jacob Street in Danville, Kentucky.
  • Ordinance No. 1866- An ordinance changing the zone from GR-A ( General Residential- Large Lot) to GR-B ( General Residential- Small Lot) for 34.523 acres of real property located on the north side of the end of East Main Street in Danville, Kentucky.
  • Ordinance No. 1865- An ordinance closing Brickyard Alley and Ford Street in the City of Danville, Kentucky; declaring Brickyard Alley and Ford Street to surplus property; and authorizing the City of Danville to dispose of Brickyard Alley and Ford Street in accordance with KRS 82.083.

  • Ordinance No. 1897- An ordinance establishing the regulatory license fee for the sale of alcoholic beverages in the City of Danville for fiscal year 2017-2018.
  • Ordinance No. 1896- An ordinance amending the existing ordinance pertaining to alcoholic beverages.
  • Ordinance No. 1895- An ordinance adopting the City of Danville, Kentucky, annual budget for the fiscal year 7-1-17 through 6-30-18 by appropriating funds for the operation of City Government.
  • Ordinance No. 1894- An ordinance amending Chapter 16 (Taxation) of the Code of Ordinances for the City of Danville, Kentucky to increase the percentage of Occupational License Tax Payment that is required.
