Traffic flow changes coming to Skywatch Drive near Starbucks July 24th
On July 24th, weather permitting, new striping will be applied to the intersection near Kroger and Starbucks on Skywatch Drive. Drivers entering the shopping center will continue to travel freely, Vehicles approaching the intersection that wish to exit onto the Bypass will need to be aware of changes. Please see the images below to better understand the new traffic flow.
New Striping:
- The right lane approaching the intersection from the Starbucks side of Skywatch will be removed. You should approach the intersection by looping around Starbucks or from the Kroger side of Skywatch.
- At the light, you will be able to turn either direction or move straight towards Chik -fil - A - No Changes.
- There will be no left turn allowed at the stop sign. You must go right onto Skywatch or straight through to the light.
Entering Skywatch Drive/Starbucks/ Kroger:
- Drivers entering the shopping center may turn either direction or go straight. Incoming traffic should flow freely.
Exiting Shopping Center/Starbucks:
- Exiting the Starbucks side of Skywatch will require you to loop around Starbucks and approach straight to the light, stopping at the stop sign. You will stop prior to approaching the light and yield to incoming traffic.
- You could also turn right at the stop sign to keep moving along Skywatch towards Kroger or move through the Kroger parking lot to exit.
- No left turn. You may not turn left onto Skywatch from the stop sign.
Exiting from Kroger
- If you are moving toward the intersection on Skywatch from Kroger, you will be required to exit onto the bypass unless you bypass the intersection by moving through the Kroger parking lot and straight ahead towards Liquor Barn/Hobby Lobby.

Please understand, these changes will cause some hesitation in the short term as drivers become familiar with the new traffic patterns. Please use caution and pay attention to new signage and road striping.
