HB252, an act relating to the age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages was signed by Governor on 3/25/22. It does not have an emergency clause so it will take effect when all the other bills do. This bill amends KRS 244.090 to lower the minimum server age of employees to 18 and to exclude persons under the age of 20 from bartending.
