Become a Green Neighbor
The program challenges you to take small environmentally-friendly steps in your own home. Complete the Green Neighbor evaluation and find out where you stand, and you could earn your Green Neighbor Certification.

The City of Danville offers recycling collection service through Republic Services. Make sure you’re recycling appropriately. If you have questions or concerns with your collection service, please contact Republic Services at 859-263-2000.

Prevent stormwater pollution
The City of Danville maintains a stormwater utility department which helps to mitigate the effects of runoff pollution and prevent drainage issues, protecting our local water sources. Check out the EPAs recommendations on what you can do to help prevent stormwater pollution.
