Our community celebrated Earth Day together with the Annual Earth Day Festival on April 20th. While the festival is a great opportunity to engage with local groups and initiatives, there are many other ways to get involved any day of the year!

The City of Danville offers recycling collection service through Republic Services. Make sure you’re recycling appropriately. If you have questions or concerns with your collection service, please contact Republic Services at 859-263-2000.

Prevent stormwater pollution

The City of Danville maintains a stormwater utility department which helps to mitigate the effects of runoff pollution and prevent drainage issues, protecting our local water sources. Check out the EPAs recommendations on what you can do to help prevent stormwater pollution.
