City of Danville Public Works to assist with Storm Cleanup

The City of Danville Public Works Department is offering residents assistance with fallen tree removal following the September 27th storms.

Residents who lost trees due to the strong winds on September 27th ONLY may request pickup of trees no longer than 12 feet and no more than 24 inches in diameter. Trees must be placed next to the road, no further than 5 feet from the edge of the pavement, and not blocking sidewalks, fire hydrants or road signage. Residents must request this service by contacting the Public Works Department at 859-238-1230, or online here no later than October 4, 2024.

Downed trees only. Shrubs, yard clippings or other yard debris will not be collected and should be disposed of with regular trash pickup or at the Alum Springs Convenience Center at 300 Alum Springs Rd, Junction City, KY. Find more information here
