City of Danville Utilities addressing water main breaks due to colder temps

Due to weather conditions in recent days, the City of Danville has been addressing multiple leaks and water main breaks around the City. This is not uncommon during winter weather conditions.

Boil Water Advisories directly related to water main breaks are routinely issued to customers in the vicinity of the break and will be provided as needed.

If any customer in the Danville system notices discolored water in their lines, it is recommended that water not be consumed. This is simply recommended out of precaution.

Any customer that notices discolored water should notify the City of Danville Water Office- at 859-238-1200, option 1 and 1, or the Danville Water Plant at 859-238-1241.
