Danville Architectural Heritage Board accepting nominations for 2025 Preservation Awards

The Danville Architectural Heritage Board Preservation Award Program recognizes outstanding contributions to the preservation of Danville and Boyle County’s historic built environment. The awards program seeks to feature people, projects and stories from our community that are inspirational reminders of how historic preservation strengthens our community, fosters economic development, maintains and creates jobs and contributes to our quality of life.

The 2025 award will be presented in May in honor of National Historic Preservation Month. The Award Categories are Exterior Restoration Residential, Exterior Restoration Commercial or Institutional, Adaptive Re-use, Educational Preservation Project by either an individual or group and Outstanding Preservation Project by either an individual or group.
