Grand Reopening Celebration planned for Michael M Smith Park

The City of Danville and Danville-Boyle County Parks and Recreation are excited to celebrate the newly updated Michael M Smith Memorial Park with the community during a Grand Reopening celebration on June 8th!

Michael M Smith Park has recently received a new playground and splashpad with plans to add parking, pavilion and other amenities in the future.

On June 8th, please join us from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to enjoy the park's improvements, free food and live music performance by Michaelfly, sponsored by the Arts Commission of Danville-Boyle County.

A brief ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for 11:00 a.m.
