Our Main Exhibit Hall will come to life with a dramatic reading presented by Scarlet Cup Theatre on March 13. Beth Marlowe will read from “Apples in Winter” by Jennifer Fawcett. The event is a fundraiser for our ArtSee Capital Campaign. Make a reservation for a special dinner service at Murrini Café before the performance!
We welcome our newest Studio Artist this month with a feature on painter and writer Rhonda Gilliam. Her whimsical “littles” will be part of our Tiny Art Show coming in April.
The deadline to submit your work for our Seventh Annual Tiny Art Show is March 17! This year we will exhibit all Tiny Art submissions in our two galleries from March 29 until the Tiny Art Sale on April 26.
We have announced our full slate of Summer Camps this week and we are so excited! We have 41 camps for kids of all ages planned and we hope you will join us for your most creative summer yet! Jane Hutchens will be our guest for a special Lunch with the Arts on Saturday, March 8. She will give a free Art Talk on needle felting and her exhibit, "Deeply Felted", currently on display in our Main Street Gallery. Jane will follow the Art Talk with a needle felting workshop. Registration is required.
We are excited to partner with Rick Cassidy and NoodleCraft for a special Classic French Bistro Date Night Cooking Class on March 15. Enjoy a romantic evening of French-inspired flavors in this hands-on class. You'll learn to prepare Panzanella Salad, Pan-Roasted Tarragon Chicken and a show-stopping Grand Marnier Soufflé drizzled in decadent chocolate sauce.
Our Homeschool Art Club will be back in session, learning about Art History in March. This is a great opportunity for homeschooled students to get hands-on art lessons each week on Wednesdays.
