Pioneer Playhouse receives National Endowment for the Arts Grant for inmate program

Pioneer Playhouse has, again, received a National Endowment for the Arts grant for Art Projects Award. This grant will help fund the Voices Inside program, which teaches playwriting to inmates at Northpoint Training Center near Danville and helps the inmates share their work with the world. This program has had a profound impact on local inmates and provides them a source of expression and outlet for creativity, giving hope to a life beyond prison.
