Bridgette Lester began working for the City of Danville in 1998 as a Budget Analyst. She served the City in several capacities including Assistant City Manager/HR Director, Interim City Clerk and Interim City Manager. In July 2005, Bridgette was appointed as the Director of Codes & Financial Information/ABC Administrator. She also served as the City of Danville’s FEMA Coordinator, and the President of the KY ABC Administrators Association, as well as, overseeing the Codes Enforcement Department, Alcohol & Beverage Control, Architectural Heritage Board and Parking Enforcement in the City of Danville.
Bridgette Lester is retiring on June 30. The City of Danville is losing an incredible asset, decades of experience and knowledge, and a dedicated caretaker of the community. Bridgette will be missed but we are happy to see Bridgette enjoy this next chapter in her life and we wish her all the best. We’re certain we will find her, again, doing great things for this community in one way or another.
