The City of Danville is proud to celebrate Commissioner Donna Peek for achieving the distinguished Certified Municipal Officer (CMO) designation from the Kentucky League of Cities (KLC) — an honor held by only 12 city leaders across the Commonwealth.
The Certified Municipal Officer program recognizes elected city officials who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to professional development and effective local governance. To earn this elite status, Commissioner Peek completed extensive training hours covering topics such as city governance, public stewardship, ethics, leadership, financial oversight, and community engagement.
The Kentucky League of Cities’ certification programs are designed to ensure that local officials are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the complexities of modern municipal government. Achieving the Certified Municipal Officer distinction is a testament to Commissioner Peek’s dedication to both her personal development and the citizens she represents.
Danville congratulates Commissioner Peek on this remarkable accomplishment and thanks her for her continued leadership, professionalism, and service to the community.
