The City of Danville recently updated the contract with our Solid Waste Collection provider. In an effort to reduce the cost to the average customer, included in this update is a charge for additional trash containers. Each customer will be provided with one trash container as part of their base bill but $4.00 per month will be added for any additional trash containers. The City is aware that customers may have requested additional containers in the past because there was no extra charge but may not want to incur the new cost. Please contact Republic Services at 859-263-2000 if you wish to change the number of trash containers you are currently provided.
