Beginning at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, March 13th, the City of Danville Water Distribution Department will begin replacement of a fire hydrant located on Alton Rd. While repairs are underway, water service will be interrupted for customers on Boyd Avenue, Hilltop Rd, Vinson Rd and Alton Rd. Once service is restored, those customers who experienced an interruption in service will be under a Boil Water Advisory until further notice.
